CCG Safeguarding Team
We have several statutory partnerships that are supported by the Cheshire CCG Executive Director of Quality, Patient Experience and Safeguarding, the Associate Director of Safeguarding, the Designated Professionals, Named GPs, the Designated Doctors and the safeguarding admin team.
Examples include the child death review process, safeguarding children, cared for children and care leavers, safeguarding adult’s board, channel panel, Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangement [MAPPA] and community safety partnerships.
Every person lives in communities, and therefore it is essential that safeguarding is everyone's business. We are now a single commissioning organisation for NHS funded care. We work closely with other commissioners and providers of health and social care services that contribute directly to making our communities safer and to ensure that safeguarding adults and children, and community safety are taken into account throughout commissioning and service delivery.
We strategically work together through the following boards and partnerships.
- Chester West and Chester Safeguarding Children Partnership and Safeguarding Adults Board
- Cheshire East Safeguarding Children's Partnership and Safeguarding Adults Board, and
- Safer Chester East Partnership and Chester West and Chester Community Safety Partnership.
- Care for children and care leavers, Chester East and Chester West and Chester
