NHS Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board - (CANCELLED)

Given the announcement of a UK General Election on 04 July 2024 - and giving due consideration to the impending pre-election period, which we will observe - a decision has been taken to cancel the NHS Cheshire and Merseyside Board meeting to be held at St Helens Town Hall on 30 May 2024.

A selection of consent item Board papers will be published on the NHS Cheshire and Merseyside website on 24 May 2024.

We apologise for the inconvenience that this may cause for individuals who had planned to attend the meeting.

The next full meeting of the Board will be on 26 July 2024. The Board is also currently scheduled to meet on 20 June 2024 to consider NHS Cheshire and Merseyside's Annual Report and Accounts 2023-24.

The Board welcomes receiving questions from members of the public. Questions can be submitted via Board@cheshireandmerseyside.nhs.uk

Questions shall not be responded to if the Board Chair deems that the question:

  • relates to quasi-judicial matters e.g. (current or potential legal proceedings or consultations)
  • relates to confidential or exempt matter
  • is not about a matter for which the Board has responsibility
  • is defamatory, frivolous, factually incorrect or offensive
  • is substantially the same as a question put to a meeting of the Board in the previous six months, however the individual will be directed to the associated response that the Board has published on the ICB website
  • is directly about party political matters
  • is formed to make a statement rather than to receive information.

A response will be provided by the Board in writing (within 20 working days following receipt of the question).
