Annual General Meeting 2020
23 September 2020
NHS Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group held its Annual General Meeting on September 22nd 2020 to reflect on a momentous year for the local NHS.
Opened by Chair Dr Andrew Wilson, the meeting - held virtually this year due to ongoing Coronavirus (Covid-19) restrictions - reflected on work in 2019-20 to bring together Cheshire's four legacy CCGs for the benefit of the people of Cheshire.
Accountable Officer Clare Watson also focused on the CCG's role in Cheshire's Covid-19 response and what that means both now and in the future, as well as looking ahead with optimism via the CCG's recently-approved Strategic Objectives.
Attended by 53 people - in addition to a panel consisting of the majority of the CCG's Governing Body - it closed with a Question and Answer session, which featured questions about malnourishment, co-production and the ongoing impact of Covid-19 on GP services.
