Cheshire East SEND inspection revisit parent / carer survey

Ofsted and Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspectors are re-visiting Cheshire East between the 24th and 27th of May 2021 to find out how much progress the local area has made with addressing the significant weaknesses that were identified at the last inspection in March 2018.

The two significant weaknesses identified by inspectors in March 2018 were the timeliness, process and quality of Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans and the lack of an effective Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) pathway and unreasonable waiting times.

This survey (which closes at midday on Friday, May 21st 2021) is about your experience since the last inspection in March 2018. We would like to know more about what it has been like for you and your families. We are particularly interested to find out what it was like between March 2018 and March 2020 - the start of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Further information and key documents in relation to the SEND Re-visit can be found on Cheshire East Council’s website here: https://www.cheshireeast.gov.uk/livewell/local-offer-for-children-with-sen-and-disabilities/send-developments/send-re-visit.aspx
