20 November 2020
National Self Care week is taking place this week, between the 16th November and the 22nd November and this month we were are pleased to announce that Reaseheath College have achieved their Silver Award for Self Care.
In order to achieve their Silver status for Self Care, Reaseheath College have promoted numerous social and physical activities to students throughout the college and have adapted lots of activities to have an online offer due to restrictions around COVID19, ensuring students don’t miss out.
Posters and national campaign timetables have been used around the college to promote Self Care and Wellbeing information to all students and staff. Self Care workshops have also been organised which has helped to increase the number of Self Care champions across the college, these have also been incorporated into team meetings in order to ensure staff involvement.
The College have engaged with both staff and students to check on how emotional wellbeing has been supported through the use of a Wellbeing Survey. There have been lots of examples documented of the support the Wellbeing Team are providing to its students across the college.
There are also numerous policies, guides and procedures in place which allow everyone to improve and protect their Self Care and Wellbeing.
Well done to Reaseheath College on successfully achieving their Silver Self Care Award.
