Sixty people attend first ever "virtual" Cheshire Chat
28 May 2020
Sixty people attended NHS Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group's (CCG) first ever "virtual" Cheshire Chat engagement session on Thursday, May 21st 2020.
Chaired by Executive Director of Strategy and Partnerships Tracey Cole, the hour-long webinar opened with presentations about the CCG's response to COVID-19 in relation to the following key areas:
- Primary Care - Dr Andy McAlavey
- Cancer - Dr Katherine Butler
- Mental Health - Lesley Cleworth, Melanie Brown, Dr Ian Hulme
The presentations were followed by a lively question and answer session. Some questions were answered during the session, with others responded to via this written Q&A.
A recording of the entire session is available here.
Pre-COVID, face-to-face Cheshire Chat sessions were held across the county to engage with local people about our commissioning work and future plans - using feedback to directly inform our commissioning decisions. However, we are always open to innovation and regularly review and adapt our approach.
Please keep an eye on our website and social media channels for details of further Cheshire Chat opportunities.
